Three Chechen women: Heda, Madina and Milana, set out on their way towards a safe Europe and a life they must start anew. For many years, Marina, a Russian woman living in Poland, has been helping refugees to resolve their legal status in our country. Who are these women? What makes them strong? What world are they seeking? The title is a refence to an unregulated procedure of interrogating refugees by border guards. In Russian, the word ‘popytka’ (попытка) means ‘test’.
