Poznań-based singer Justyna Szafran is often described as "a lyrical glamorous beauty and a cheeky, vulgar and romantic lover of extreme emotions". Regarding her concert entitled The oppressive eye of the poet, its main characters are accursed poets – Charles Bukowski, Allen Ginsberg, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Gottfried Benn, and W.H. Auden. On the one hand there is the poetic polyphony arranged by Justyna Szafran and her fellow musicians, on the other - rock&roll tunes, guitar riffs, bass and drums.
