Photographer Tytus Szabelski and art critic Katarzyna Róźniak are fascinated with the social identity of Cytadela Park. The result of their work is an exhibition in the staircases of a block of flats in the Winogrady neighbourhood. The exhibition of photographs from Poznanians’ family albums next to professional contemporary photography brings together the park’s political and social history as remembered by its builders and users. The authors want to revisit the 1960s discussions on the social role of art and architecture.
