Michaś is a monodrama exploring the double identity of Prof. Michał Głowiński, a homosexual of Jewish origin. The outstanding Polish philologist, historian and literary theoretician experienced the Holocaust, the anti-Semitic campaign of 1968 and the Hiacynt anti-homosexual campaign. Even today, the Polish government and its media are conducting a massive campaign against Jews and LGBT people. The script is based on the Professor’s own writings and on one small contribution from the performance director.
