An interval is a break, a distance between sounds, for example a major third, which makes a resounding call for peace, light and joyful. How long does an interval last? How long does peace last? Does it have to be only during an interval? The project focuses on a re-enacted unveiling of the Bell of Peace and Friendship between Nations in Cytadela Park on 11 October 1986. This time, without the word ‘nation’, the re-enactment is a new ceremony: the unveiling of the Bell of Peace and Friendship.
