A reversed middle finger allows one to point out and record oppressive systems instead of individual oppressors. It symbolises a numb, withering centre supported by the other fingers. The artistic collective Tyna adopted the gesture from Balkan women as a tool for a collective commentary on violence in public space. This time, we will use this gesture to map and subversively take over this space in Poznań.
